Juodkrantė is situated in the Curonian Spit-- a place with a unique landscape. It was mentioned in the sourcebook already in 1429. Even before World War II Juodkrantė was a famous resort matching European standards. A modern three stars hotel “Eglių slėnis”, shrouded in idyllic countryside stillness, is situated on the western shore of the Curonian Gulf, next to the Hill of witches that is surrounded by mysterious legends. There are only 150 meters from the Curonian Gulf and you can reach the Baltic Sea on foot in 15 minutes.
